Tuition & Assistance
Tuition
SCA is a private school, and tuition and fees support a portion of the operating expenses. The remaining cost to provide the high-quality education SCA provides is contributed by constituent Seventh-day Adventist churches and donations from alumni, families, and friends.
Tuition for the 2024/25 school year is $5,550 ($555 per month for 10 months) for grades TK to 5th and $6,050 ($605 per month for 10 months) for grades 6th to 8th. Payments are due on the 1st of each month from August through May, and may be paid with our automatic payment program, through Adventist School Pay, or by cash or check to the school.
Payments may also be split to accommodate multiple payments (for example, a payment may be split between the student's family and another family member supporting tuition expenses or payment may be split between a student's parents if they are paying separately). If you have questions about tuition or payments, just let us know by emailing office@scautah.us. We are happy to help!
Discounts
SCA provides a number of discounts to our families:
5% discount for full tuition payment received by August 15th.
5% discount for families with two or more students enrolled at the school.
Please Note: Discounts do not apply to families receiving financial assistance.
Utah Education Fits All
SCA is a vendor with Utah's Education Fits All program, a universal school choice scholarship program in which K-12 students who are residents of Utah may qualify to receive up to $8,000 toward tuition, fees, and after school care. Families seeking financial assistance are to seek funding support through this program before seeking financial assistance from SCA. Families can learn more and sign up at: https://access.ufascholarship.com/
Financial Assistance
SCA offers tuition assistance to students who have been denied funds through the Utah Education Fits All program based on qualifying factors as determined by our third-party FACTS program, with final review and determination by the School Board Finance Subcommittee.
The amount of funds available for allocation may vary from year to year, and early application is recommended as money may no longer be available for late applicants. SCA will begin processing applications on June 30th for early applicants. Students must be registered for school in order to be considered for tuition assistance.
For more information on financial assistance, please contact us at (801) 613-1722 or office@scautah.us.
