To provide a Christ-centered, supportive environment that emphasizes academic excellence, independent thinking, character development, life skills, and respect of self and others. Summit Christian Academy students will be well prepared for higher education, 21st century society, and Christian service.

Summit Christian Academy (SCA) highly values and encourages an active relationship with Jesus Christ for each child via daily worship, prayer and Bible based teaching in the classroom, worship in song, twice yearly Week of Prayer, regular community service and outreach activities, teaching and modeling of Christian values and a Bible-based worldview philosophic belief system.

SCA values and supports a program of fully accredited academic excellence that complies with the Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) educational curriculum requirements, provides differentiated learning opportunities and strives to encourage each child to achieve their own personal excellence in learning, problem solving and fostering intellectual curiosity.

SCA values a culture of Christian community based on the Fruits of the Spirit ("But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law," Galations 5:22-23, NIV) that is structured to support the intellectual, physical, spiritual and emotional development of each child to enable them to realize their full potential.

SCA values responsible leadership by staff, the school board, and constituents that works to support and enhance the academic, spiritual, social, and cultural experience at SCA, as well as the property and financial resources of the school in a manner consistent with the Core Values of SCA.

SCA values inclusion of students regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, denomination, or socio-economic status and believes that inclusion in a diverse school community enhances a child’s educational and developmental experience.
